For over 40 years, the Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia (MNDSA) has been a vital source of care and support for South Australians diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Our work supports clients, their families and loved ones with the resources and support they need to live with dignity, independence and hope for as long as possible.
My Story
Three years ago, my beautiful mother Maxine was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND).
She is an amazing mother to my brother Dominic, sister Zara and myself. As well as a wonderful grandma to 3 grandkids. Watching someone so strong face such a devastating disease has been heartbreaking. So this year for my birthday I want to raise some money towards finding a cure for MND.
This fundraiser is in honour of my mum, and for every family who is living with MND. My hope is that one day, there will be a cure and no family will have to go through everything that comes with a diagnosis like this.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, I would be so grateful. If donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this fundraiser can help raise awareness and reach more people.
