The Midway Tavern at Midway Road Elizabeth Downs is an institution in the northern suburbs and this is our second crack at supporting MND SA with our community day. The Midway is a community orientated venue in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, and we encourage people to ‘Meet At The Midway’. We’ve met plenty of great people here over the years and sadly some members of our community and their families have been impacted by the MND. So, for us, it’s personal and that’s why we are doing our bit to stand up to MND. We are raising awareness and importantly money that goes towards making a difference for SA families that come up against it. Some of our customers have felt the impact, but also our team, that’s why we're making a little sacrifice to get dunked in the icy cold water for this cause. If you could send anything our way to contribute to the fight and make it worthwhile, we would be very grateful. There will be activities across the week, raffles, but the best way to support is pick your favourite (or least favourite) team member and see them take the plunge. Last year our community raised $8,000 and we’d love to see what we can achieve together.
