Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a life-limiting disease with no known cure or effective treatment. Each person's experience with MND is unique, but on average, individual life expectancy is just 27 months from diagnosis. This stark reality highlights the urgent need for timely and tailored care.

Funds raised through Walk to Defeat MND 2026 are crucial in enabling MNDSA to continue our work in the community.

Thanks so much for doing this. It was held on my friend Jill’s 69th birthday whom we sadly lost just after her 68th birthday. I had hoped to walk in her memory but my body decided not.
