Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a life-limiting disease with no known cure or effective treatment. Each person's experience with MND is unique, but on average, individual life expectancy is just 27 months from diagnosis. This stark reality highlights the urgent need for timely and tailored care.
Funds raised through Walk to Defeat MND 2026 are crucial in enabling MNDSA to continue our work in the community.

My profile picture is of my beautiful poppa sharing a chat over a donut with my beautiful daughter. A beautiful memory.
My poppa was a jolly and happy man who had a genuine love for life. He shone a light on any person he met and always had so many life stories to share. He devoted his life to time with family and friends, working hard, working for charity's, and fishing and exploring.
Unfortunate, the MND demon took his mobility, his ability to talk, his ability to clear his throat, and in the end, his life 😢.
Unfortunately it's to late to help my poppa but I hope we can help others.
We are fund-raising to support the important work of MNDSA.
