Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a life-limiting disease with no known cure or effective treatment. Each person's experience with MND is unique, but on average, individual life expectancy is just 27 months from diagnosis. This stark reality highlights the urgent need for timely and tailored care.
Funds raised through Walk to Defeat MND 2026 are crucial in enabling MNDSA to continue our work in the community.

My Story
I am fundraising to support the important work of MNDSA. Donations helps MNDSA continue providing vital support, care and advocacy for people living with MND and their families.
You may have seen some of the recent stories of older people struggling to remain at home with supports funded by the aged care system. This has a profound impact on people and their families affected by neurodegenerative disorders like MND. In this time of crisis, MNDSA steps into the breach and makes a huge difference to anyone living with MND in this state.
