Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a life-limiting disease with no known cure or effective treatment. Each person's experience with MND is unique, but on average, individual life expectancy is just 27 months from diagnosis. This stark reality highlights the urgent need for timely and tailored care.

Funds raised through Walk to Defeat MND 2026 are crucial in enabling MNDSA to continue our work in the community.

I am fundraising to support the important work of MNDSA. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as I have lost both my Mum and my cousin to Motor Neurone Disease.

Having lost my step-father to MND I can only hope for research that can help understand the cause of this terrible condition and hope for treatments in the future. I am so sorry that you have lost family members too, your Mum and cousin will be shining their light on you whilst you walk 💙
